Experimental audio visual designer hosting (TAS) is a multimedia artist, polymath musician, producer and digital engineer who has been recording and performing for more that 15 years. After a decade in Brisbane playing in bands and cutting records, they relocated to lutruwita / Tasmania. Hosting is interested in using sound as a means to capture and preserve fleeting textures of memory, place, and time. Combining diaristic field recording, found sound, and digital and analogue production methods, they create elaborate and detailed sonic collages. Their work has been featured in both national and internationally touring projects as an outbound artist, producer, engineer, and coordinator.  In 2021 hosting collaborated on the Pony Express project Abolish The Olympics at Contemporary Art Tasmania in the role of AV designer and performer, supported by a New Work for New Markets grant from Contemporary Art Tasmania.  They recently collaborated as a recordist and designer on the virtual reality project in(ner) vision(s) for Unconformity Festival 2021.
